Using Worthhit
These terms describe use of the Worthhit website and browser application. Use the service only if you can lawfully do so and meet any age, account or other requirements of services you connect. If you do not accept these terms, stop using the application.
Worthhit provides evidence-based second-hand price estimates and negotiation guidance. It does not sell or buy goods, arrange transactions, hold payments, verify ownership or provide a certified appraisal. You decide whether and how to trade.
Lawful and honest use
Submit only material you have the right to use and share. Do not use Worthhit for pornography, weapons or firearms, illicit drugs, stolen goods, illegal items or confidential documents. Do not submit personal contact details, credentials, private records or information you do not have permission to disclose.
Do not use the app to deceive another person, fabricate comparable evidence, misrepresent condition or ownership, evade a provider’s safeguards, exploit vulnerability or coordinate unlawful activity. Automated category checks can make mistakes; an accepted request is not a finding that an item or transaction is lawful.
You are responsible for checking laws, platform rules and restrictions that apply to your item, location and proposed transaction.
Your trading decisions
Check the item in person or through an inspection you trust. Independently verify its identity, condition, safety, ownership, authenticity and any claims in a listing. Agree delivery, payment, returns and other transaction terms with the other party.
A price range is an estimate based on the available evidence, not a promise of market value, profit, a buyer, a seller or a completed sale. Do not present a generated report as an independent certification. See Liability and limitations for the limits of generated output.
Provider accounts and charges
You supply and control your own OpenRouter account and key. Requests go directly from your browser to OpenRouter and the chosen provider, under their terms and data practices. Optional paid web research may involve another search service.
The app checks model and endpoint eligibility for free routes, but upstream pricing, quotas and availability can change. Paid research is optional and requires your selection. Review provider charges and account limits; you are responsible for charges associated with your account and chosen services.
Keep your key private, revoke it if exposed and avoid entering it on an untrusted device. Worthhit holds the key in memory for the current session; it does not deliberately persist it in local storage or include it in exported reports.
Data and Google Analytics
Local app data. Drafts, validated reports and preferences are stored in your browser. Worthhit has no application database or API proxy. Other people with access to your browser profile may access locally stored material. Browser settings, private browsing, storage pressure or device failure can remove it. Export important reports and use the app’s controls or your browser’s site-data settings to clear local data.
Appraisal requests. Submitting an appraisal sends the content you provide directly to OpenRouter and the selected provider; research may also involve a search provider. Their retention and privacy policies apply. Static hosting also receives ordinary web requests and may retain infrastructure logs.
Website analytics. The website loads Google Analytics using Google tag G-G4SYW37S81. Google receives technical and usage information through analytics requests, including information about the browser, device and network connection, and may set or read analytics cookies. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
The tag is configured with a fixed public page address and title, a blank page referrer, and Google Signals and advertising personalization disabled. Worthhit does not add custom analytics events containing API keys, item descriptions, evidence, prompts or reports. Enhanced measurement and other Google Analytics property settings are managed separately and may collect additional interactions; these code settings are not a guarantee that only the configured page fields are collected.
Your browser’s privacy settings, cookie controls or content blockers can limit analytics. Blocking Google Analytics does not prevent the price-check app from running. Analytics is separate from locally stored drafts and is not a backup of your work. Do not place secrets or confidential information in website URLs or public links.
Changes and rights
The application, supported providers and these terms may change. This page shows its update date, and project changes are recorded in GitHub releases and source history. Review the current information before using a new release.
Nothing here removes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or restricted. The software license in the source repository governs use of the code; these website terms do not replace it. No particular governing jurisdiction or exclusive court is selected by this page.
Project support
Use the Worthhit GitHub repository for source, releases and public project support. Public issues are visible to others: you must not publish API keys, personal information, private reports or confidential evidence. Remove sensitive details before describing a problem.
