Evidence before estimates.

A clearer second-hand price starts with evidence. Worthhit helps buyers and sellers understand a reasonable range and make their own informed decision.

How a price check works

  1. Describe the item honestly: condition, defects, age, accessories, location and currency.
  2. Add dated comparable listing excerpts and sources, or explicitly enable paid web research through OpenRouter.
  3. Review the accepted comparables, price range, cautions and questions. Missing or unsupported evidence can prevent an estimate.

An asking price is not proof of a completed sale. Worthhit distinguishes the available evidence from assumptions. Condition, local demand, transaction costs and timing can change the price someone actually pays.

Fair negotiation

Our appraisal instructions consider attachment to possessions, anchoring, urgency, trust and uncertainty. Guidance should help both sides explain a reasonable offer and inspect the item. It must not exploit vulnerability or invent scarcity, competing offers or evidence.

Inflation, currency changes and popularity need dated, relevant support; they are not automatic percentage adjustments. Review the sources and use your own judgment before buying or selling.

Data and services

The application runs in your browser without a Worthhit application database or API proxy. Drafts, validated reports and preferences use local browser storage. Your OpenRouter key stays in memory for the current session.

When you request an appraisal, submitted content goes directly to OpenRouter and the selected provider. Optional paid research may also involve a search provider. Website usage is measured with Google Analytics, a separate third-party service that may use cookies. See the data and analytics explanation for details.

Language selection uses browser preferences and your manual choice, without an IP-geolocation service. Moving from an old project URL to worthhit.com creates a new storage origin: export reports you want to keep before switching.

Costs and availability

Worthhit has no app subscription. You bring your own OpenRouter key. The model selector accepts eligible free routes, subject to provider availability and rate limits. Optional web research can cost money and requires your explicit selection.

Provider pricing, terms and availability can change. Review your provider account and any research charges. A successful model check cannot guarantee the next request will succeed.

Languages and offline use

The app supports English, Türkçe, Deutsch, Français, Español, Português, العربية and 简体中文. It follows supported browser language preferences, or you can choose a language in Settings. Original evidence quotations remain unchanged. These public information pages are currently in English.

After a complete app shell has been cached, you can reopen a local draft or saved report offline. Model discovery, provider checks and new appraisals require a connection. Browser storage may be cleared or evicted; export reports that matter.

Use your browser’s install or add-to-home-screen option when available. Worthhit adapts its workspace to compact and wider screens and supports system, light and dark appearance.

An independent project

Worthhit is independent of OpenRouter, AI providers, Google and GitHub. It is a decision aid, not a marketplace, broker, payment service or certified appraiser. It does not authenticate goods or guarantee a sale.

Review the Terms and conditions and Liability and limitations before relying on a result. Source code, releases and public project support are on GitHub. Never include API keys, personal information or confidential evidence in a public issue.
